MARK ANDERSON – MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mark is a graduate member of IOSH and has health and safety running through his veins. He founded ACG Compliance in 2016 with a vision to provide high quality services at affordable prices.
Mark began his career in safety at a reputable fish monger and moved on to the regions biggest waste recycling firm where he quickly established himself as an indispensable team member. It was this growing reputation that lead to him securing HSEQ management roles at Hodgson Sayers and Houghton International.
He specialises in the development, implementation, maintenance and auditing of all types of management systems and has the ability to impose a positive safety culture in any workplace. His enthusiasm for safety is evident when delivering training courses, which is another of Mark’s undoubted strengths.
Mark developed the National Anti-Bullying Workplace Award which has been designed to allow employers to demonstrate their excellence in the control of bullying, harassment and stress in the workplace. These efforts have been recognised by local MP’s and Mark continues to help the community where possible.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf (badly) and holds a season ticket at Newcastle United (stupidly).
CHRIS CONNOR – HEALTH & SAFETY CONSULTANT
Chris decided to pursue a career in health and safety following a working holiday spent in Australia. It was whilst working for a large construction company that he developed a passion regarding health, safety and environmental aspects that surrounded the work. He enrolled with Northumbria University upon his return and achieved a distinction pass in his NEBOSH General Certificate.
Due to his obvious talent in this area, he was encouraged by tutors to undertake the NEBOSH Diploma and completed this in 2017.
Chris prides himself on building positive relationships with our clients and is used to adapting to a range of different industries.
Alongside his employment, Chris plays football at a semi-professional level (surprisingly) and has helped to spearhead our anti-bullying initiative.
HAYLEY JOLLY – MARKETING AND SALES
Hayley joined the team in September 2017 and in the short time she’s been with ACG, she’s proved to be a valuable asset to the team never shying away from picking up the phone and contacting potential clients. Hayley has a brilliant work ethic coming straight out of school and jumping right into the working environment. Jolly by name, jolly by nature!
JAX – THE TEAMS BEST FRIEND
Jax has been working for ACG Compliance since the very start. Jax has over approximately 28 (dog) years of experience in the Health and Safety industry, this along with his playful personality brings a lot to the team. Never a RUFF day when jax is around!
